1. Categories
- Technically necessary cookies: required for login, user account, booking flow, session security, consent management, payment processing for rental price and security deposit, and protection against misuse.
- Statistics / analytics cookies: only with consent, unless exceptionally technically necessary.
- Marketing / retargeting cookies: only with consent.
- External media and maps: only with consent, unless they are strictly necessary for the specific function requested by the user.
2. Sample text for the consent banner
“We use technically necessary cookies to provide the website, login, booking functions, payment processing for rental price and security deposit, and the security of the platform. We only use statistics, marketing and external media cookies or comparable technologies where consent has been given or a legal permission applies. Consent that has been given can be withdrawn via the provided consent function or – as long as no separate consent management is available – by adjusting browser settings or contacting us.”

4. External maps and media
The platform may use map, geocoding and media functions from external providers, in particular Google Maps and YouTube. Where these functions are necessary for the requested platform function, they may be loaded as part of that function. Where they additionally trigger consent-based tracking, analytics or marketing functions, activation takes place only in accordance with the consent given.
